Q What should I wear for the classes?
A Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Jeans are fine although trainers are not advised as they provide too much grip.
Q What is the lesson format?
A There will be a short 5 minute warm up to music followed by partnerwork. This is usually in two parts, the first part of the routine is taught and then practised to music, followed by the second part of the routine which, again will be taught and then practised to a second track.
Q Will I be dancing with the same person throughout the class?
A No, the class is rotated regularly so you will be able to dance with everyone.
Q As a woman, will I be asked to dance as a man if there are more women than men?
A No, only if you want to. Sometimes there are more men than women!
Q Do you give private lessons?
A Yes, please see the contact details page for how to get in touch. We can also help with wedding dances and provide fun salsa classes for hen parties incorporating basic salsa steps and sexy styling.
